257 new COVID cases reported in Rochester Region

According to Monroe County Health reports, 1,410 people in total have died from the virus and a total of 78,352 cases have been reported.

257 new cases were reported Wednesday alone.

3.7% remains the average daily positivity rate for the last week based on Antigen and PCR tests.

Based on NAAT tests the positivity rate is 5.08%.

Average new cases per day for the last 7 days average 205.

200 people were hospitalized on Sept. 29 and 53 remain in the ICU.
