Frederick Douglass Airport to host pop-up vaccine clinic

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport will serve as a pop-up COVID vaccination site.

Gov. Cuomo announced Thursday that Rochester, along with seven other airports across the state, will take part.

The clinics will be open May 24 – 28.

No appointments will be needed as sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available at the clinics.

Airports in Buffalo and Syracuse will also have pop-up vaccine clinics.
