Three charged in three separate cases in Canandaigua

Canandaigua, New York – Three men have been charged in three separate cases.
David Kepner, 61, of Bloomfield was charged with the second-degree attempted criminal sex act.
Jeremy Worthington, 34, of Conesus was charged with attempting to lure a child.
Josh Maslyn, 38, of Canandaigua was charged with the second-degree attempted criminal sex act.
According to police, each of the three men used social media in an attempt to lure a 14-year-old for sexual activity. In each case, police say the suspects met up with a detective pretending to be the child.
Last week, Robert Schaefer of Canandaigua was charged with a criminal sex act, also accused of trying to lure a minor through social media. In that case, too, police say a detective was posing as a minor.
