Gates PD: Teens stealing cars in several towns

Gates, New York — A group of teenagers is caught on surveillance cameras stealing cars from homes in Gates, Greece, Henrietta, and Ogden.

According to police, Tuesday, August 24th, residents of a home in Gates reported both of their cars missing.

Surveillance video reveals the suspects at the home, on the back deck. The residents told police they cut a hole in the screen door and took the keys off the counter.

According to the police, the stolen vehicles have been recovered. At least two of them were in minor crashes.
