New York State requiring masking in schools, regardless of vaccination status

New York – On Friday the New York State Department of Health made an announcement regarding masking in schools.

According to the NYSDH, everyone over 2-years-old is required to wear a mask in school buildings, regardless of vaccination status.

The state is adopting recommendations from the CDC to make this decision.

The determination was made Friday.
