35-year-old woman hit by car on Lake Avenue, dies

Rochester, New York — Friday night police responded to the report of a crash involving a pedestrian to the area of Lake Ave. and Phelps Ave.

Upon arrival, they found a 35-year-old woman who had been hit by a vehicle.

According to police, the woman was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a car driving south on Lake Ave.

At this time the victim’s name is still not released.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Officers believe this incident was not intentional.
