Two 15-year-olds arrested after police chase in Rochester

Rochester, New York — Thursday two teens were arrested in a police chase in the City of Rochester.
New York State Police moved to pull over a car on Joseph Avenue around 3:30 Thursday afternoon when the driver attempted to flee, according to investigators.
According to police, two people ran away on foot when the car ran out of gas on Mazda Terrace.
One-off the teens threw a loaded handgun before being caught, investigators say.
The driver was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and fourth-degree criminal possession of the stolen property.
The passenger was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Both were issued appearance tickets returnable to Rochester Youth Court.
