Raising awareness of problem gambling in New York State
Genesee County, New York – New York State is working to raise awareness about the risks of problem gambling with more legal options than ever before available to gamblers.
In order to promote responsible gaming initiatives, the state is joining with Batavia Downs.
A new poster highlights the voluntary self-exclusion program, which is meant to help those with a problem who are looking to avoid the temptation to gamble.
The poster includes a QR code for services to get help.
Anyone who is looking for help can call the state’s HOPEline at 1-877-8-HOPENY(467369).
