Vice President Kamala Harris visits Buffalo for funeral of Tops shooting victim Ruth Whitfield
Buffalo, New York — On Saturday morning, Vice President Kamala Harris visited Buffalo for the funeral of Ruth Winfield, one of the 10 people killed in the Tops mass shooting.
Rev. Al Sharpton led the service for the 86-year-old, who was the last victim laid to rest.
Second gentleman Douglas Emhoff was also in attendance.
Prior to the service, Vice President Harris and the second gentleman met with the victims of other families.
Vice President Harris left flowers at a mural near the Tops where the shooting occurred.
