MusicFest to benefit Honor Flight Rochester
Henrietta, New York – On Saturday, the sound of music became a salute to our nation’s heroes.
In Henrietta, Rochester Elks Lodge #24 hosted a music fest, with all benefits going to Honor Flight Rochester.
Honor Flight Rochester brings veterans from the area on a trip to Washington D.C. to visit war memorials.
According to Raymond Hawkins, a member of Elks Lodge “This is our first music fest with them, we’ve done other fundraisers, but it’s turned out to be a beautiful day, and today we can raise a lot of money for Honor Flight.”
Sunday, on Father’s Day, local veterans will return home from their D.C. trip.
