Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra musicians will perform in Rochester’s parks throughout July
Rochester, New York – During the season for outdoor music around Rochester, every Tuesday of July Musicians from the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in local parks. The series kicked off on July 5 with Bob Sneider Jazz Trio performing at Susan B. Anthony Square Park.
The series continues with:
• The RPO Wind Quintet at Barrington Park on July 12
• The RPO String Quartet at 500 Norton Street behind the neighborhood service center on July 19
• The RPO Brass Quintet at the Maplewood Rose Garden on July 26
The music is free and starts at 6:30 p.m.
Rochester’s Party in the Park concert series, through August 11, and the free Concerts by the Shore, through August 31, are also filling the city with music.
The RPO will perform orchestral classical and pops music on July 13 at Concerts by the Shore at Ontario Beach Park.
Alternative band X Ambassadors is one of the headlines of Party in the Park and they will perform on July 14.
