A man arrested after leading police on chase
Rochester, New York – Friday a man was arrested after a chase in the city.
According to authorities, US Marshals had been looking for the man accused of violating parole for several weeks. Officers spotted him in Rochester, tried to stop him and a chase ensued.
Officers say the man crashed into several vehicles on Sawyer and Genesee Streets. He tried to escape on foot but was taken into custody.
According to officers, a weapon was recovered at the scene.
No one was seriously injured and a woman in the car with the suspect was transported to the hospital in an ambulance, US Marshal Charles Salina said.
