New York celebrates the end of COVID-19 restrictions
Buffalo, New York – Tuesday afternoon at approximately 9:15 p.m., New York was celebrating the end of the state’s COVID-19 restrictions.
People could watch fireworks from around the state celebrating the lifted COVID-19 restrictions.
According to Governor Cuomo, 70.0% of New Yorkers age 18 or older have received at least the first dose of a vaccine.
That was the goal that Cuomo said would trigger the relaxing of most restrictions.
The CDC says 50.3% of all New Yorkers are fully vaccinated.
