Three men sentenced for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapon

Rochester, New York – On February 21, three men were convicted of unlawfully carrying firearms and trafficking marijuana in Rochester.
After being found guilty of distributing marijuana and using a handgun during the commission of a felony involving the distribution of drugs, J’Lyne Caldwell, age 30, was sentenced to five years in prison. After a similar conviction, Elisha Scott, age 22, and Strong King, age 20, will each spend a term of seven years in jail.
The U.S. Attorney who was in charge of the case said that when investigators searched two homes on Pardee Street, they found cash, a loaded gun, and marijuana that was ready to be sold. The three men were taken into custody on August 11 as a result of this search.
