GATES, N.Y. – Shmeg’s Restaurant announced in a Facebook post Friday that the business will be closing on July 3.
The former News10NBC Rochester Rocs winner for best breakfast posted that the restaurant will not be open for dine-in service for the next three weeks.
The owners say that the building is being torn down soon after they close.
In a post, business operators post that “God truly blessed me and the employees with the best customers anyone could ask for. I have also been blessed with the most amazing staff that has stuck by my side through all the rough patches.”
The owner said that they searched for other venues to reopen, but were unsuccessful.
