Goodwill opens two new ‘Good Neighbor Centers’
Monroe County, New York – Goodwill opens two ‘Good Neighbor Centers’ in Monroe County
On Tuesday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for two new “Good Neighbor Centers,” one at Goodwill’s Dewey Avenue store in Rochester, and the other at the organization’s Webster location.
In order to provide direct access to much-needed community resources in the area, the centers will serve as a hub, working with schools, nonprofits, and community service organizations.
The program provided 300 coats to children and their families at the Rochester Rec Center, and gave out over 50 sets of hats, scarves, and gloves to homeless people.
