Governor Hochul extends COVID State of Emergency into April
Albany, New York — In relation to COVID, Governor Hochul has extended the state disaster emergency for the state of NY.
The announcement was made on March 16th.
In the declaration, the reasoning to extend is due to hospitalizations statewide being still over 100 admissions a day and the state continuing to monitor hospital bed availability.
According to Governor Hochul, the state of emergency was extended until April 15th.
