Governor Kathy Hochul to make child care announcement in Brooklyn
New York City, New York – Governor Kathy Hochul is expected to make an announcement in Brooklyn.
The announcement is expected to address childcare in New York, according to her schedule.
On May 5th, Hochul announced back that $11 million in funding from the recently enacted state budget is now available and will be used to expand the Healthy Families New York Program to every county in the state.
By providing voluntary home visitation to expectant parents and families with infants, the program focuses on preventative community outreach.
