Greece woman charged in connection to Wilkins Street homicide
Greece, Rochester, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police has charged a Greece woman in connection with a homicide that happened early Friday morning.
Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. for the report of a man assaulted on Wilkins Street. Upon arrival, officers found 29-year-old Daniel Baldwin suffering from at least one stab wound. First aid was rendered, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yazmin Moody, 32, from Greece was arraigned on a second-degree murder charge in Rochester City Court Saturday morning.
Police arrested Moody on Friday and took her into custody without incident.
She was remanded to the Monroe County Jail and is being held with no bail, a preliminary hearing was set for Nov.12.
Police say this is not a domestic-related murder, but Moody and Baldwin knew each other.
