How Rochesterians are working to beat the heat
Rochester, New York — As Monday temperatures hovered in the 90s, many people went to search of relief.
A lot of Rochester people went to Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte to cool off by swimming in the water or relaxing in the shade.
It is time for a break from working around the house to take it easy at the beach, Jack Julian said.
“Even with the breeze you’re feeling it,” he said. “Not bad in the shade. Don’t have to work hard and you’re already sweating. It’s hot!”
High air temperature continued through Wednesday night.
