Man arrested in Bath for an alleged order of protection violation
Bath, New York – A 29-year-old, Christian Tobias was arrested for an alleged order of protection violation.
Tobias allegedly violated a duly served stay away order of protection while in Bath, according to the Sheriff’s office.
He has a previous conviction for a designated family offense within the previous five years.
Christian Tobias was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony, and arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court.
While pending a bail hearing in Steuben County Court, Tobias was held in the Steuben County Jail.
During the investigation and arrest, the Village of Bath Police Department assisted.
