Man facing charges in 2021 fatal crash in Rochester
Rochester, New York — A man was driving 90 mph and caused a fatal crash that left two children dead and their brother seriously injured.
Jadden Desue, 11, and Ja’vion Green-Rucker, 4, and their 8-year-old brother were in a car driven by their mother on Nov. 24, 2021. When her car was struck by a northbound vehicle, she was heading south on Mount Read Boulevard and turning east onto Lyell Avenue.
According to Rochester Police, Jadden and Ja’vion were killed. Their 8-year-old brother was hospitalized and continues to recover. Their mother has physically recovered.
Rochester Police presented their investigative findings to a Monroe County Grand Jury, which has indicted Christopher Antonetti, 29, of Rochester with two counts of second-degree manslaughter and one count of second-degree assault.
According to police, Antonetti was allegedly driving in excess of 90 mph before the crash.
He recklessly caused the death of Jadden and Ja’vion and serious injuries to their sibling, police said.
Antonetti was remanded to the Monroe County jail, where he currently remains.
His bail was set at $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond, or $120,000 partially secured bond.
