Man left dead after hit-and-run in Niagara County
Lockport, New York — A fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle incident happened in Lockport on Saturday evening.
The Niagara County Sheriffs arrested Nathan Marziale of Lockport, charging him for leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Sheriffs responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:30 p.m. and found a man laying in the snow with severe injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
The man was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Later, the alleged vehicle involved in the incident was located by investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, and Marziale, the alleged driver of the vehicle, was arrested.
The driver is being held at Niagara County Jail, pending arraignment.
