Man tries carjacking two people in Corn Hill
Rochester, New York – A man tried to carjack two people in Rochester’s Corn Hill neighborhood.
After a 911 caller said a man tried to steal her vehicle holding what appeared to be a gun, Rochester Police responded to Adams and Atkinson streets around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Shortly after, a second 911 caller on Tubman Way said a man tried to steal her vehicle while holding what appeared to be a gun.
According to officers, they searched the area and found a suspect near Atkinson and Ford streets.
They chased him and took him into custody in a yard on Coretta Scott Crossing.
A 21-year-old, Clifton Moody, was charged with felony first-degree attempted robbery. Moody was expected to be arraigned Wednesday morning.
