Rotary Honors Bill Sauers for service to Greece Community
Greece, NY – On July 22, 2020, a ceremony was held at Ridgemont Country Club where Greece Historical Society President Bill Sauers was honored by the Greece Rotary Club as “Community Person of the Year.”
Sauers was honored in recognition for his years of volunteer service promoting the Town of Greece and its history.
About this distinction Sauers said, “Although completely unexpected, and I am sure others are just as deserving of this honor, it is nice to know you’re appreciated, especially from an organization like the Rotary.”
