Shooting on Cummings Street, Rochester Police investigating
Rochester, New York — The Rochester Police Department is investigating after a man was shot Saturday evening.
According to officers, they responded to Cummings Street around 5:45 p.m. for the report of gunshots heard.
At the scene, they found a 20-year-old city resident who was shot at least once in the lower body.
The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
At this time, there are no suspects in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
