Shooting on Electric Avenue, one man arrested
Rochester, New York – An overnight shooting incident happened in Rochester.
According to Rochester Police, they responded to the 200 block of Electric Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday after receiving multiple reports of a male shooting a gun in the street.
Upon arrival at the scene, police say the suspect went back into his house. Soon after, police took the suspect into custody.
During the arrest, Electric Avenue, between Dewey Avenue and Chaumont Street, was closed to traffic but has since been reopened.
No injuries were reported.
