The White House says boosters are necessary based on FDA’s decision
New York – According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the White House always said that the general public receiving booster shots was contingent on the FDA’s decision.
The FDA approved the booster shot to be given to anyone over the age of 65 or anyone who is high risk.
The decision made was based on there not being enough data to show that original vaccinations were waning among generally healthy young people.
According to experts, the dilemma between young people seeing the back and forth on whether they should or should not be able to get the booster shot could cause confusion.
