Town hall discussion on converting RG&E to a public utility
Rochester, New York – A town hall discussion about Rochester Gas and Electric’s future will be held on Thursday by Metro Justice and Vice President of the City Council Mary Lupien.
Community leaders and members are invited to the meeting to talk about converting RG&E into a public utility.
It happens at a time when RG&E and its parent firm are attempting to raise rates once more.
The event will take place at the Thomas P. Ryan Community Center on Webster Avenue on Thursday at 6 o’clock.
