Tractor trailer fire momentarily shuts down I-90 near Pittsford
Pittsford, New York – On Wednesday, a tractor-trailer fire blocked a portion of I-90 in the Town of Pittsford.
State Police arrived at the scene of the incident around 3:10 a.m. The fire occurred near Pittsford-Mendon Center Road between exit 44 and 45, according to authorities.
As emergency crews cleaned up the scene, all eastbound lanes were blocked off for around two hours.
According to State Police officials, no injuries were reported in the fire.
An investigation is ongoing.
