While the mother is giving birth in hospital, boyfriend beats to death her 5-year-old son with disabilities at home
As soon as women became pregnant, their whole life changes in the very second when they acknowledge they are pregnant. They immediately realize what being a mother means despite the fact that they will have to wait for months until they give birth to the baby.
On the contrary, numerous studies have shown that fathers start to really “feel” what being a father means when they see their baby for the very first time and when they take it in their hands. But in today’s case, none of these apply for this monster father who killed his girlfriend’s son, while his girlfriend was in the hospital giving birth to his child.
A man is facing many years or possible lifetime in prison for beating to death his girlfriend’s son at home while the mother was in the hospital giving birth.
Yoshuah D. of Missouri is charged for the death of the 5-year-old boy after the police confirmed they have evidence to prove the case.
According to the police reports, Yoshuah was in charge for the little boy and his older sister while the mother was giving birth in hospital. He was taking care for the children in their apartment.
The next day Yoshuah took the little boy into the local Children’s Hospital in “dire need of medical attention,” the reports confirm.
The boy had suffered from “devastating” blunt force trauma and eventually succumbed to his injuries, according to the police association. His injuries included a lacerated liver and intestine, a broken rib and bruising to his face and inside his mouth, which caused significant internal bleeding.
The little boy was beaten by the mother’s boyfriend and he had no chances in defending himself from the attacker. The detectives said during the investigation they found that the boy was suffering from a rare disease which led to limited mobility requiring the use of braces on his legs. The boy was also blind.
Police officers were called to investigate, arresting and charging Yoshuah with abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death.
The suspect is also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. It is unclear whether he has an attorney at this time or if he has entered a plea.
