18-year-old man charged after vehicle thefts in Ogden
Ogden, New York – A 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with vehicle thefts early Tuesday morning in Ogden.
According to Ogden Police, at least three people broke into Resch Automotive on Spencerport Road, stealing keys to vehicles that were at the lot for repairs.
Police say five vehicles were taken, two of which were later found in Rochester. One of the vehicles, they say, was tracked down with OnStar, and the other was found crashed.
According to police, Amarieon Maybell, was found near the scene of the thefts and was charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property. He was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in court at a later date.
