Two men shot separately overnight in Rochester
Rochester, New York – Two men were shot in separate incidents just after midnight.
According to Rochester Police, just before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, they responded to the 200 block of Sherman Street after a gunshot-detection device registered bullets fired in the area.
Upon arrival, police found a 19-year-old man with at least one gunshot to his upper body. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Around the same time, Rochester Police received a report of another person shot in the area of Hudson Avenue and Avenue D.
Upon arrival, they say they found evidence of shots that had been fired, but no victim.
Later, a 27-year-old man from Gates was dropped off at Rochester General Hospital with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body.
According to medical staff, he is in stable condition.
At this time no one has been taken into custody for either shooting.
