Several people injured after fight in Rochester
Rochester, New York — Thursday, more than a dozen people were injured during a fight on the city’s northwest side.
According to Rochester police, they responded to the area of Lexington Avenue and Thorn Street just after 3 p.m. for a reported confrontation.
According to Rochester Police Department, the incident escalated and multiple people became involved. Several officers were called because of the report of someone with a weapon.
Police say nearly two dozen people interfered during their investigation.
The scene has cleared and police say there is no threat to the public.
At this time, the number of people injured and the extent of their injuries is unknown as to whether anyone will be charged.
